One of the greatest things parents can give their children is support in whatever passion they choose to pursue.
As a mom or dad, you only want your kids to be happy and the best way you can help them realize their dreams is by assisting them in honing their skills and talents.
This means creating an atmosphere of cultivation as early as when they show interest in a craft. Recently, Angelina Jolie’s 14-year-old daughter debuted her creations and it showed just how supportive the actress is of her child.
The star recently attended the premiere of her starrer, Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, with her kids, making the event a family date. However, little did the public know that one of the guests, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, was actually showcasing her jewelry collection. Instead, people raved about the teen’s fashion sense, which made her the star of the red carpet (sorry, Angelina).
The Zahara Collection
Apparently, Zahara was donning her own creations on the premier that was also attended by her siblings, twins Knox and Vivienne, Shiloh, and Pax. The designer wore three pieces from her line — a matching bracelet, ring, and three-tiered earrings.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, she might have been flaunting her designs at the red carpet when she chose a strapless black dress and pulled her braided hair back.
The Zahara Collection also includes pink sapphire jewelry and white and pink quartz pieces, which, along with the emerald cuts we saw on the red carpet, will be available on the market in November at several Saks Fifth Avenue shops.
But this wasn’t just an ordinary line with Robert Procop – as per reports, proceeds will be given to the House of Ruth Shelters, a Los Angeles-based organization that provides transitional housing for women and children who are victims of physical abuse.
Angelina Jolie’s Collaboration
The promising designer is following the footsteps of her mom, who donned a black and silver Ralph & Russo ball gown at the event. Angelina also collaborated with the renowned jeweler in 2012 and launched a line called Style of Jolie.
That’s not the only thing the mom-daughter duo had done similarly, even the Salt actress’ collection had citrine gemstones, which are yellow quartz, just like Zahara’s.
Favorite Jeweler?
Proceeds of Angelina’s collection were given to the Education Partnership for Children in Conflict for the construction of an Afghanistan school.
Robert, the jeweler to the stars, is also close to the family because he was the designer of the 16-carat bling Brad Pitt gave the 44-year-old when he popped the question in 2012.
The said ring was designed by the World War Z actor himself with the help of the Beverly Hills designer, who revealed that it was actually a yearlong team-up.
Although Brad didn’t reveal how much the jewelry was, others estimate it to be half a million dollars. Of course, he was marrying one of the most beautiful and talented actresses, so what better way to propose than with an unmissable band that has a tablet-shaped center stone.
