The Fashion Industry deems the Met Gala as one of the most anticipated and prestigious events that hold every year. The theme for 2019 was Camp: Notes on Fashion which typically inspired fashion designers to display their fashion prowess for a large audience including famous people. There were so many activities and scenes as there usually are, and this year’s Met Gala wasn’t any different! Right from the entrance performance by Lady Gaga to Katy Perry’s over-the-top chandelier costume, one could hardly focus on all the exciting things that happened this year.
Basically, the event was marked as one of the most memorable in the history of fashion. Our ever-astonishing Lady Gaga who was the co-host of the 2019 Met Gala kicked off the show with an endearing spectacle at the entrance as she altered her costume up to four times which she showcased on the red carpet.
She Didn’t Slack in Implying Curious Minds
The diva entered in a large hot-pink gown and wore long metallic eyelashes to match. After a while, she slipped off her costume only to reveal another costume underneath. It comprised of a sparkling corset and jeweled tights.
Her peculiar act naturally reminded her fans and spectators of her signature, glitz, and glamour. However, spectators were able to discover something odd from the whole extravagant scenes she made at the event, particularly the pink diamond ring which was spotted to have resembled the engagement ring she received from her former Fiancé Christian Carino.
The Revelation
It was initially observed during her performance after which she had created time to accessorize by putting on some more jewels that were kept in a box. The logical curiosity occurred as minds began to wonder if it meant that she and Carino were once a couple again. The fascinating jewelry she wore was estimated to worth around $300,000.
However, this ring was later revealed not to have been given to her by her ex-fiancé. Reports further clarified that Lady Gaga had obtained the item from Tiffany & Co merely because she had chosen to wear the company’s signature timeless designs to the Met Gala 2019. In fact, there were four other rings that she had put on from Tiffany & Co.
