John Legend celebrated his 40th birthday last week, and Chrissy Teigen was quite excited about wishing her husband a happy birthday. She shared two cute slideshows from the last few years and dedicated one to Miles Theodore, their seven-month-old son and another to Luna Simone, their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
The memories she shared included one where her husband was with the kids on a couch. The 33-year-old former model referred to her husband as the man she deems the most incredible and also said he is the hardest worker, best father, best friend and best lover she could have ever imagined.
She added that she was daily grateful for the love he has for her and their kids and how much he says it and shows it.
She also expressed how grateful she was to his family for successfully creating and also raising a man who is pure, brilliant and sweet. She added how much she loves him and how blessed the world is for having him in it.

The sweet couple had a funny exchange in the comment section, and other celebs were also in the comment section to celebrate with the singer in this major milestone.
Kris Jenner wished him a happy birthday adding three heart emojis at the end of the comment. Neal Brennan also wrote that Legend is a great man and jokingly added that he would have told her if he was not great. Andy Cohen also dropped his birthday wish along with a lot of emojis. Jordin Sparks and Halle Berry also joined in with their respective birthday wishes.
Other Milestones For The Legends
Legend’s celebration of his 40th birthday isn’t the only milestone he has achieved this year. This year, one more baby was added to their family, and he also got EGOT status on the shoulders of the leading role he played in an NBC concert. He also got two more titles this year.
His wife, Teigen also released her own second cookbook and collaborated with Target on kitchen product. She was also named Woman of the Year by Glamour. Together, the couple hosted a holiday special and celebrated five years of being married.
Legend and his wife have been with each other for 12 years. They celebrated their wedding anniversary earlier this month, and they took to Instagram to exchange sweet and funny posts.
Teigen along with a picture of them kissing at their wedding wrote that the day marked the 12th year when she met the man of her dreams and the fifth year when they got married. She added that they had two babies, a couple of pups and expressed her gratitude for the life they have together.
She called him her everything and added how proud she is of the story they have created. To end the post, she jokingly called Legend out for taking her thunder.
Five Years Of Blissful Marriage
In response to her joking banter, Legend also posted on Instagram to honor their anniversary. He posted a picture which featured his wife and their baby, Luna. He wrote that he could write about the 12 years he has known her, and he described the years as beautiful.
Legend added that he could also write about the five years of their marriage which have been blissful years. He also made reference to their two children.
Since their marriage in 2013, they have been honest about their intimacy and their relationship as a whole. Coming after the birth of the couple’s second baby, Teigen opened up about the fact that even though they both still find the other partner very attractive, they get too exhausted with parenting their kids and work sometimes.
