If you are a die-hard James Bond fan like us, you must be eagerly anticipating the arrival of the 25th 007 film which will have a star-studded cast, with some actors that may surprise us. Even though fans aren’t excited that Lupita Nyong’o will not be staring in the new Bond film, the filmmakers are trying to make up for the disappointment by offering the role of the villain to Rami Malek.
Malek is close to signing a deal to join the coveted cast of the popular franchise. Producers wanted characters for a villain and an M16 agent. If Malek gets the role, we could soon see him as the new terrorizing killer in the Bond’s franchise.
The 37-year-old actor would play the antagonist role against the famed Daniel Craig. Producers of the movie have been struggling to get Malek to sign the deal since the actor’s availability has been a major hindrance.
Every producer in Hollywood wants to work with Malek, whose career skyrocketed after playing Freddie Mercury in the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody. The role earned him the Best Actor award at this year’s Oscars. The win is a massive boost for his career as well as his country, Egypt, where more young actors will be inspired to join the film industry.
Malek and Mohamed Salah have given a positive image to their country. The men inspired millions of Africans to chase their dreams no matter what field they are in. For the cast of Bond 25, we are seeing Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Ben Whishaw. The movie will be showing in theatres around the world from April 8, 2020.
