Unbelievable things happen in the royal circles, you just can’t get enough surprises. You might not believe it but it just happened. For the first time, Queen Elizabeth the Second attended the catwalk Fashion Week show held in London. As usual, she was dressed in style and splendor.
The Monarch sat in the first row, on a unique pillow placed on her perspex chair. The same privilege was given to all those who sat in the row at the front-end, including names such as Anne Wintour, the editor for American Vogue. Both were seen conversing heartily and Anne was seen bearing her trademark shades. Later on, the Queen presented a new honor to recognize the distinctiveness in British designs and fashion.
Before the final moments when the award was given, the British Monarch was seen touring the showrooms of the Fashion grounds. It was after this admirable activity that she presented the awards.

Her Majesty was seen seated with Anne Wintour, to the right, and Caroline Rush to the left during the show. She looked stunning and elegant in her duck egg tweed blue dress along with her jacket designed and crafted by the hands of her old-timer seamstress, Angela Kelly. The short coat had details of Swarovski crystals of aquamarine descent, and the entire outfit was complemented with the Sovereign’s formal black gloves.
For guests who attended the event, seeing Queen Elizabeth honor the show with her presence was both marveling and humbling. However, the 91-year-old Monarch felt unperturbed and entertained by the activity; a show that is usually visited by luminaries like Sienna Miller and Kate Moss.
